Pre-journal

I’m a religious journaler — reflecting each night on what made the day memorable, what I’m thankful for and what I did better and can improve. But, this week, I took this up a notch by writing my journal the night before.

I wrote what I wanted my day to look like, how I wanted to show up, and what would truly make that day great.

Honestly, with my previous method on some days, it was depressing to write a list of work accomplishments for what made the day memorable — and after the fact, impossible to change. But, doing it ahead of time, gave me time to adjust.

With this new method, the days were so much more impactful. I was reminded of what mattered most to me. I showed up as the person I wanted to be. I had so much more fun.

Maybe there is something to manifestation? I’m hooked. Try it.
