Take Three Deep Breaths

Yesterday, I went into my workday frazzled. I realized that with long weekends and vacations, I don't have a full work week for the next two months. Great for my balance and family, stressful for an entrepreneur. 

I saw a day of hectic work ahead of me. Must. Work. Faster. 

Then I stopped myself. That was the old Kari. The new one knows better. She does her best work when calm and given space.

I took three deep breaths. I was shocked at the level of calm achieved in this 30 seconds. Each time I felt panicked the rest of the day, I did the same. 

Try it today.  30 seconds might change your whole day.
