The other day I went on a ‘trail run.’ Trail run is in quotes because I’m not sure the route I chose was actually a trail, and the challenging terrain made it hardly a run. The experience made me reflect. Why do I love trail running while normal bores me?
I love the surprise of not knowing where I will turn up.
I love discovering new places.
I love the fact that it’s the road less taken.
Honestly, I love the fact that it’s hard.
I think it’s why I like entrepreneurship. Yes, sometimes it means that I chose the wrong path and have to backtrack, or my ‘run’ involves scaling rocks more than pounding the trail, but I love it.
