Here is a quick tweak to my goal planning I've made this year that is already making an impact: List 3 actions you can take right now to move you closer to your goals. Write them down and then do at least one of them immediately.
Too often our goals are too abstract or far off. This trick helps make them tactical and brings them into the now.
