Recently Brene Brown called out exactly why our current situation is so hard. We are on one of those roller coasters that are inside in the dark. It’s not the coaster that is so bad, but the unknown. We’re being whipped in all directions and don’t know what is ahead or when it will end.
This analogy helped me. Contextualizing why this is so exhausting and hard helped me accept this reality.
So strap yourself in. Hold on tight. We’ll make it through to the other side.
