On Saturday, the kids and I were kayaking in the Potomac. We saw a rope swing on the bank ahead. “Mommy, can we go on the rope swing?”
My mind immediately wanted to say, “No,” thinking of a million excuses for why not. But, I then asked myself, “What would make today memorable?” And that rope swing was high as hell on that list.
