Crowdsourcing Your Fun Ideas

Updated: Mar 30, 2020

One of my major tips for moms is to find activities that your kids like that also energizes you. You don’t need to limit your joint playtime to play spaces and tea parties.

Today, we’re trying something new. We put together a list of such activities but have it in an editable Google doc for you to throw in more. Here is a sampling, but check out (and add to) the doc for 55 ideas (and growing):

  • Go to an art museum/gallery

  • Go to an Indoor water park

  • Have a dance party

  • Tie-dye

  • Go on a hike

  • Watch a sunset

  • Look for four-leaf clovers

  • Go to a foreign grocery store and discover new foods

  • Meditate or do yoga together (Cosmic kids on YouTube is great)

  • Do a spa day at home with sheet masks and aromatherapy

  • Get your nails done

  • Do a nature cleanup

  • Prank call their grandparents, using disguised voices

  • Play video games together. We’re loving Zelda

PS: This tip came from our Working Mom Checkup, which now over 1K moms have taken. Find more tips custom selected for you by taking yours here.
